Prof. Dr. Gabriele Schuster, IU International University of Applied Sciences, Germany (LinkedIn)
Prof. Dr. Gabriele Schuster has been Professor of Business Administration with a focus on Marketing at IU International University of Applied Sciences since 2016, where she headed the Marketing & Communication department from 2018 to 2024. Her research connects artificial intelligence, innovative marketing and sustainability with concrete business practice, as reflected in her ongoing project "AI biases in marketing practice: Perception and action strategies", which examines how distortions in the application of AI in marketing are perceived and addressed. As an editor, she brings proven experience in managing academic publication processes. Particularly relevant to the field of applied AI is the co-edited volume "Generative künstliche Intelligenz in Marketing und Sales" (Springer Gabler), which systematically opens up generative AI along real-world use cases. Her editorial work further includes a continuously updated handbook on innovative marketing and the co-editorship of a reference work on the 8th UN Sustainable Development Goal.
