Knowledge Management and Cultural Diversity: Important Elements in Understanding Conflict

Knowledge sharing is identified as a potential root cause for conflict, whereas knowledge management systems can deal as mediating factors to reduce the costs of conflict. Furthermore, it is evaluated that knowledge sharing and management gains in complexity in case of international cooperation and can be an explaining factor for more conflicts in these work environments. Overall, this essay strengthens the need for knowledge management systems covering cultural aspects.Downloads
