South African universities are increasingly integrating entrepreneurship into their curricula to address high youth unemployment and socio-economic disparities. This paper investigates attitudes towards social entrepreneurship (SE) among student members of Enactus at a University of Technology. The study employed a cross-sectional quantitative design with a self-administered questionnaire completed by 34 students. The data revealed that 81.1% of respondents intend to engage in social ventures, and 90.3% are aware of university SE programmes. These results reflect strong intentions and positive attitudes toward SE, supported by institutional initiatives like EDHE. The findings imply that universities can harness this momentum by embedding SE in curricula and leveraging national programmes to translate enthusiasm into actionable social impact.Downloads
