Abstract

This study investigates the structural and dynamic characteristics of interdisciplinary collaboration networks within the domain of business research. Employing advanced bibliometric techniques and social network analysis, the research maps co-authorship patterns to understand how knowledge is integrated across disciplinary boundaries. By analyzing large-scale publication data, the study identifies key actors, network clusters, and bridging ties that facilitate cross-disciplinary interactions. The paper further explores how network attributes such as modularity, centrality, and density influence research productivity, innovation outcomes, and the diffusion of ideas. The findings suggest that interdisciplinary collaborations, particularly those involving central actors connecting disparate fields, significantly enhance the generation of novel insights and scientific breakthroughs. This research contributes to the growing body of literature emphasizing the importance of network structures in shaping scientific collaboration and provides practical implications for research policy makers, academic institutions, and funding agencies aiming to foster interdisciplinary knowledge creation and innovation.
