Abstract

This study examines the strategies employed for stakeholders to strengthen ethical leadership towards improving workplace health and productivity within the Congolese Mining Sector. The mining sector in the Democratic Republic of Congo, provides a pertinent setting to investigate how ethical leadership permeate through various organizational levels, and subsequently provide key strategies for stakeholders with this regard. The study employs a quantitative approach to capture the perception of ethical leadership among workers and assess the influence of ethical leadership on key workplace outcomes. Employing a stratified random sampling technique, a sample of 330 participants was selected, of whom 215 provided valid responses. Data was collected through surveys distributed to employees across different departments within companies in the Congolese Mining Sector. The outcomes of this study revealed a positive correlation between ethical leadership strategies and both workplace health and employee productivity. These findings highlight the importance of ethical leadership in informing decisions to foster a positive work environment, which, in turn, enhances employee well-being and boosts overall productivity.
