Abstract

This paper examines how coaching effectively develops leadership competencies in today's dynamic work environment. It reviews theoretical concepts of leadership development and various coaching approaches (systemic, solution-focused, integrative), highlighting their objectives and target groups. The study analyzes key success factors like clear goals, trusting relationships, and coach expertise, while also addressing challenges such as leader resistance and time constraints. A case study of RHI Magnesita demonstrates successful agile coaching implementation during organizational change and the pandemic. The paper concludes that coaching is a powerful tool for fostering leadership skills and offers recommendations for its professional integration, emphasizing its growing importance in a transforming workplace.
